HONEY GLAZED BRUSSEL SPROUTS

This recipe can use fresh or frozen Brussel sprouts so anything that you have to work with!

Brussel sprouts are a great addition to any meal! They add a ton of nutrients that increase iron absorption, promote blood clotting, contain antioxidants and rich in vitamins and minerals!

What I love about them is you can change the flavor and texture by preparing them different ways- making them versatile in meal planning!


Ingredients

  • Brussel Sprouts

  • Sesame Oil

  • Balsamic Vinegar

  • Salt

  • Fresh Black Pepper

  • Honey

  • Toasted Sesame Seeds


  1. Preheat your oven to

  2. Prepare your sprouts by washing them, removing any debris, and cutting them in half.

  3. In a bowl combine your sprouts, sesame oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, honey, and any other seasonings of your choosing.

  4. Spread sprouts evenly on lined cookie sheet.

  5. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds

  6. Bake at 350 F for 20 minutes

  7. (Optional) For crispy edges- broil on high for approx 2 minutes but watch closely.
